I’ve worked with women and men who’ve faced abuse since my early days in my master’s program. But it was during my doctorate—pregnant and waking up to my own abusive husband—that it hit me hard.

As a survivor, I’ve learned this: unless you’ve been through it, it’s tough to truly guide someone out of that darkness. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help survivors—people like you—navigate the mess. I help you untangle who you are from what’s been done to you, and figure out what comes next.

Abuse is a cycle of death and rebirth. It’s a dark night of the soul, pulling years of trauma from your body. Until you find a flow that feels like peace, like freedom, no matter where you are in the journey.

Recognizing abuse when you’re in it? That’s the hardest part. It’s blurry, confusing. Some come to me not even realizing they’re in an abusive relationship. Others are piecing it together, trying to leave, or years past it, still wrestling with the scars.

I’ve been there—betrayed, ashamed, lost. But I transformed that pain through a process: sinking into the ashes, sitting in the void, then rising into life again.

It’s not about going back to who you were—that’s impossible. It’s about becoming something new. I share more on this in my blog posts from Quora, like “Narcissistic Abuse and Complex Trauma” (link). I unpack how abuse lingers, shifts your worldview, and demands a rebirth.

Abuse isn’t a one-time thing—it repeats. Survivors often move from one predator to another until something shifts. That shift? It’s when you stop abandoning yourself. When you reclaim your story as the heiress—not the victim—and step into your truest self. For me, that means creating a healing space that’s gentle and free. A container for others to do the same. Men are overwhelmingly the ones abusing women and children—statistics back this up, and so does my work. Complex trauma (C-PTSD) often follows, a diagnosis in the DSM that captures the deep, lasting impact. My job isn’t to fix you—it’s to walk with you through the fire, helping you find your power, your peace, your way forward.
